Mother's Day
Mother’s Day is this weekend and I haven’t done my shopping yet! Here is a list of items I would be thrilled to get and a few items I have and love.
I am so grateful to be a mother and for all the wonderful moms in my life. These things would be nice to get, but really all I want is to sleep in and be with my people. Maybe a hot matcha too.
This KeepCup comes in a few sizes and is perfect for drinks on the go. I love the cork.
A bike! I have wanted a bike for ages. I have visions of us biking to school next year or for ice cream. The one issue is, the last time Luke and I road bikes I hit a mailbox. I over corrected one way and then drove right into it. The mailbox was fine, but my ego has not recovered. I guess I should add a helmet to the list.
I have two Baggu bags and I use them almost every day. I use them for groceries, library books, school bag overflow, shopping in town you name it. They also came in really handy on vacation.
I love a good bracelet. In my 30’s I have embraced a certain look I rock most days. Messy hair, little to no make-up, and sneakers. When I put on one of these bracelets I feel fun and put together, even if it’s in my own head. Meg and I grew up together and she is an awesome human.
I have been following and lusting after Emerson Fry since they started. I remember interning at my first job and reading about their sweet barn and farm. When I saw these caftans I decided it was time to finally get a piece. The fact that they are organic cotton with low-impact dyes is even better.
I got a pair of Lake Pajamas for my birthday this year and they make bedtime feel luxurious, even when I am brushing teeth and reading stories. Mae loves matching and I have to admit I love it too. Will feels a bit left out, so I have been eyeing these for all of us.
The book, Pacific Natural came out recently and would make a great gift for special mommas in your life.
Rothy’s for all the right reasons. Sustainable packaging, recycled material, machine washable…what is not to love? I want to try this sneaker style.
This RMS lip2cheek color always makes me feel alive. This brand is clean, safe and has glass packaging.
Indie Lee face oil has been such a game changer for me. I am on my second bottle and I don’t think I will ever be without it. It’s also safe clean beauty in glass packaging.
I have been ordering skincare and makeup from Follain recently. I appreciate all their knowledge, mission, and help. Not to mention supporting this local business woman (and momma) running an amazing company makes me happy.
I meant to put this GOOP Glow in my stocking this year, but I forgot. That’s right, I do my own stocking. I am intrigued by it and have heard a lot of wonderful reviews. I know a lot of Moms that would love to try this.
I live in my Patagonia pullover and would happily gift this. I love Patagonia for all they do for our planet.
I hope these ideas were helpful if you needed gift ideas. I tried to pick items I love and items I would love to get. I also chose a lot of business that are run by women and mothers for this special day.
